Veggie Burger mix
Laura Gil Martens, Chief Nutritionist, R&D Manager, AM Nutrition
A successful collaborative project between Mitsubishi Corporation Life Sciences (MCLS), NISCO AS and AM Nutrition
Developed by experts from MCLS, NISCO and AM Nutrition, the innovative concept of a clean label vegetarian burger mix based on pea concentrates is finally finished and available to the food industry.
With a successful proof of concept and the colours green, yellow and red in mind, Chef Stian Iversen created three exciting flavour combinations with just herbs and spices.
We feel excited to see this product available for consumers who value healthy nutrition and a sustainable lifestyle.
The current product development is the outcome of several creative loops in recipe optimization in which nutritional value, texture and taste have been carefully balanced and refined by experts and turned into a delicious burger prototype.
